Code of Conduct for Ethical Management

01 Purpose and Scope

  1. The ethical and regulatory compliance standards (hereinafter referred to as "these standards") of Kaon Polymer & Sealant Co., Ltd. aim to establish a foundation for ethical and behavioral standards that enable all employees to act sincerely and fairly in all corporate activities, thereby contributing to society and becoming a trustworthy company.

  2. These standards apply to the CEO, directors, auditors, and employees (including regular employees, contract employees, part-time employees, temporary employees, etc.) of Kaon Polymer & Sealant Co., Ltd.

02 Ethics Towards Customers

  1. Employees of Kaon Polymer & Sealant Co., Ltd. should always listen to customer opinions, believe that the true demands of customers are always right, and prioritize customer satisfaction in all judgments and actions.

  2. Employees must speak only the truth to customers, keep promises made to them, provide the best products and services, and respond promptly and accurately to legitimate customer demands.

03 Ethics Towards Shareholders and Investors

  1. Employees of Kaon Polymer & Sealant Co., Ltd. must preserve the interests of shareholders and investors by increasing both tangible and intangible value.

  2. Employees must not use company assets without authorization, obtain benefits through improper means, or engage in any actions that diminish corporate value while harming the interests of shareholders and investors.

04 Compliance with Laws and Regulations

  1. Employees of Kaon Polymer & Sealant Co., Ltd. must comply with these standards as well as all relevant laws of the Republic of Korea (including but not limited to the Fair Trade Act, Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, Pharmaceutical Safety Regulations, Commercial Act, Tax Act, Industrial Safety and Health Act, Waste Management Act, Air Quality Preservation Act, Water Quality and Aquatic Ecosystem Conservation Act, Patent Act, Copyright Act, etc.), rules, internal regulations, and ethical standards.

05 Prohibition of Rebates, Bribery, and Other Corrupt Practices

  1. Employees must not offer bribes or similar improper benefits to influence decisions made by government agencies, non-governmental organizations, or company representatives in relation to product business.

  2. Employees must not engage in any acts of corruption, illegal activities, or unethical behavior.

06 Gifts and Entertainment

  1. Employees must refrain from offering or accepting gifts or entertainment that could influence business decisions.

  2. Employees must not request gifts, entertainment, or special treatment from suppliers or any trading partners.

07 Fair Competition and Supply

  1. Employees must comply with relevant laws and respect fair trade practices, achieving legitimate advantages through fair competition.

  2. Employees must engage in fair and transparent transactions with medical institutions, suppliers, and consumers.

08 Protection of Personal Information

  1. Employees must comply with all relevant personal information protection laws and regulations to protect individuals' information.

  2. Any unauthorized use, disclosure, or loss of personal information must be reported immediately to the responsible department.

09 Compliance with Employment Regulations

  1. Employees must treat each other with dignity and respect, avoiding any acts of intimidation, verbal abuse, or violence.

  2. Employees must comply with all employment laws and regulations, including those prohibiting discrimination.

10 Protection of Intellectual Property and Trade Secrets

  1. Employees must not disclose or use company trade secrets or internal information for personal or third-party benefit.

  2. Employees must report any unauthorized disclosure of trade secrets or internal information immediately.

11 Accuracy of Business Records

  1. Employees must maintain accurate and transparent records of actual transactions and payments, avoiding concealment or falsification of records.

12 Use of Internet, Email, Portable Devices, and Electronic Media

  1. Employees must protect confidential information while using electronic environments such as the internet and email.

  2. Employees must not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or the distribution of inappropriate materials.

13 Compliance with Trade Regulations

  1. Employees must comply with trade regulations and practices of the countries involved in import and export transactions.

14 Environmental, Health, and Safety

  1. Employees must comply with all relevant laws and regulations regarding environmental protection, health, and safety.

  1. For additional information or to report potential violations regarding these standards, please contact the Compliance Officer (Department).
